INTRODUCTION

Correia Art Glass was established in 1973. It was founded by Steven V. Correia and co-founded with Patricia Correia. Steven V. Correia’s work with art glass and optical crystal sculptures have been exhibited throughout the world. Patricia Correia laid the foundation for Correia’s national reputation by introducing and selling the glass to the finest retailers, galleries, and fine art museums. The nation’s great museums own Correia Art Glass. It is in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Smithsonian Institution, the Corning Museum and the Chrysler Museum of Art. In 1984, the dedication of Steven V. Correia Jr. High, San Diego, California was honored to Steven V. Correia. 

Correia uses no molds except to enhance the design, making each glass object a unique handmade creation. Every unique Correia Art Glass piece is signed, dated and registered to verify its authenticity, protecting its value for the future. Correia glass continues the perfect union of art and glass.
